2010 POSI AWARDS Update and Marcy's New CD!

Hello fans and friends! Wow... what an incredible two weeks in Florida. I had the privilege of singing in a number of shows with my dear friends Jan Garrett and JD Martin at the Center for Spiritual Living in Cape Coral, at Unity of Clearwater, and also at this year's Posi Awards in Orlando. Thank you to all of you who came out for the concerts, workshops and services and for making us feel so welcomed. We loved being with you! 

Also, my song "This Inner Space" ended up being recognized with a Posi Award in the "Healing" category! ("Posi" is short for "Positive Music" and is pronounced "Pozzi.") This year's 5th annual conference was great. I am still basking in the love and in the experience of passion, inspiration and care that flow through so many people who come together every year to share and support music and work that is universally uplifting. Save the date: The 2011 emPower Posi Awards Ceremony and Conference will be held in Orlando, January 14-17. For songwriters and musicians, music lovers and anyone wanting to live more creatively and authentically, the concerts and workshops will invigorate you. And speaking of "This Inner Space," you may have heard it on my website or on the new emPower CD that was just released and found yourself wondering, "Is this song going to be on MARCY'S NEW CD?" Funny you should ask! As a matter of fact, YES! IT IS! And, guess what else? The CD truly is ALMOST HERE!!! Someday, if you really want to know, I'll tell you the backstory of why it has taken so long. All I can say right now is, life is truly stranger, more dreadful and more beautiful than TV. I think I will write a book. For now, however, I find myself experiencing moments of glee where I feel like singing Barry Manilow's "I Made It Through The Rain." I roller skated with a boy to that song, so it is deeply embedded. That song is not on my CD, but there are twelve others that I am so excited to share with you. I have a collector's edition pressed. (Translation: it contains the exact same music but with a semi-deplorable visual representation which is currently being addressed.) If you want that version NOW anyway, please send me an email through the "Contact" tab on my website. I will send it to you. If you can wait about 30 days, both the cover and the typos will be unfunkified. (If I know that a word isn't a word, I believe it is okay to make one up. Feel free to use it.)
